Sr. Human Resources Generalist
Provides overall multi-unit, multi-state HR generalist support for retail stores. The client base includes: sales representatives, store managers, regional managers, regional directors, and divisional directors. Primary focus is on employee relations, harassment, discrimination investigations, training, coaching/counseling, and strategic alignment of Human Resources with Operating Objectives. The ideal candidate needs to be extremely customer focused, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about partnering with management and employees on developing and implementing strategies, which support T-Mobile as the 'Best Place

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Investigates employee and manager complaints regarding violations of the company's policies (e.g. sexual harassment, standards of business conduct, discrimination, etc)
* Provides expert advice, counsel, and coaching to Senior leaders, managers, and employees on all employee related issues such as, but not limited to: performance management, investigations, termination decisions, corrective action, HR and Company policies and procedures, and all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies, investigations and actions, etc
* Partners with Regional HR Managers to provide Compliance Training and other HR related and business training for Client groups
* Partners with HR communications Team as FSC Liaison to develop and deliver tailored client communications surrounding major HR initiatives
* Implements and administers national HR initiatives to enhance organization's strategic objectives.
* Addresses all EEOC Charges
* Maintains current and complete understanding of Federal and State laws including case law and regulations such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, FLSA, ADA
, FMLA, ADEA, and state laws
* On boards and orients new managers with HR practices and system requirements
* Assists with administering compensation practices and reviews
* Provides coaching and development to front line management and employees on HR issues and career development
* Promotes a positive employee relations environment through consistent application of open door policy, and promoting open dialogue between employees and management
Functional/Technical Skills
* Strong EEOC and investigations background (sexual harassment, discrimination charges, etc)
* Knowledgeable in federal and state employment laws and compliance with government regulations.
* Solid background providing counsel and direction on performance management, corrective action and employee separations
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* HR Systems knowledge (SAP preferred, but not required)
* Proficient in Microsoft office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint

Experience
* 5+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources Generalist experience to include
* Experience in employee and labor relations
* Experience responding to EEOC claims and handling large investigations
* Performance Management administration & counseling w/managers
Education/Training
* B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
* PHR Certification preferred
